Walls in stages...

Tekken 4 was the first Tekken ever to have walls. Do you like them? Do you dislike them? I like them, but some stages were far too small.
My favorite stages are Airport and Shinjuku. (:

I'm not a technical player in Tekken 4, but I did enjoy them.
Building, Hon Maru, Carpark and Shinjuku are my faves.

I remember that me and my friend chose the Shinjuku stage and tried to break those phone things and all other environment

The separate environments sure were unique additions to stages. I always loved to nail strong attacks and throws through pillars, phone boxes and statues. (I mean, Paul's Phoenix Smasher on broken statue? King's Suplex throw through a phone box? HARDCORE!)
The water was very nice to have in stages. It felt... detailed and beautiful. Fight on the water, far away from the beach.
But the variety of stages came at a price - The game was pretty damn slow, especially for our PAL regions which clocked at 50 hz. You don't want to experience it. Not now or never.
The PAL version had an option for players for 60 hz (pick if possible) and Progressive Scan (what is this?) fortunately.

ah! i know what you talking about muggshotter!
i used to have that problem with tekken4 >_<
but then i got a new original copy XD and there was that option
i think tekken4 had the best stages!
my fav was underground park for practice.
the building rooftop was so beautiful <3
the mall interior with the fountain was spectacular!
walls were fine then, but in tekken6, are scary XD

well back when i was playing tekken4, i didn't know there is something called juggles XD
almost no internet, no youtube...thought they were just some innocent walls, that don't even break lol
